Boss man or Sammy.
A strong flat white generally gets me going, followed by some reading & daily planning, then mostly trying to stick to that plan and not get sucked into the easy, comfortable tasks.
I love creating stuff. Whether it be creating opportunities for my people, creating a new place for somebody to live, work, grow, or elevate.
Myself and my team. Not that I view anyone (including myself) as an object or a thing, but I certainly believe that the most memorable project or task of creating a great culture based around teamwork, fun and continuously elevating my team has been one of my most memorable moments.
I have a pair of webbed toes... I often get asked why don't I just cut them, but I am pretty sure it makes me swim heaps quicker, so I can't see the point.
Is this the bit where I say 'I wanted to take over the world and be the next big thing?' No, seriously, I wanted to create something that I could call my own. The potential that I saw from owning my own business and lessons I learnt from once being an employee have made sure I made the correct choice in working on/at Platinum Pro.
Definitely my partner's Thai green curry. And in all seriousness, a stubby of Great Northern Original.
Buzz.

As Client Liaison, I feel so grateful that I get to experience the entire journey of building a new home with our clients. There's never a dull day and each build is so different in it's own way. We cater so well to the individual here and I feel that makes all the difference. Home Handovers are for sure incredibly special but sometimes even a simple frame walkthrough can be just as memorable, as seeing the joy on our owners faces when they come to site and discussing the progress we've made is super rewarding. I've got to say my crew too! We're a very strong team, there's plenty of banter and genuine bonds with everyone, it makes coming to work so easy!
Definitely would have to say my computer and the phone! Without them liaising would be quite the challenge!
I taught my cats to both play fetch and sit for their meals. I am one invested cat Mum!

If it's a new site I'll probably do a good site clean, but if I'm already there, I'll set up the tools required, get stuck into the task/repair. Have a break if need be. Pack down tools, clean site and set up or obtain any tools material for the following day.
Working with my hands, I'm generally at the job at the pointy end, so I get to see it all come together and iron out any kinks or issues. Hate to say it, but I love having to MacGyver things.
Western Creek. The job was set out different, but practically, with different finishes and appliances (fireplace tiles), a whopping big deck with a good view, and nice easy going owners. I enjoyed the drive to and from the job the most.
There were positions with most of the builders around Devonport when I was returning to Tas. All my friends said, "Platinum Pro is good and have high standards, Sam is honest and fair and they work big hours". When I met the boss in Latrobe he seemed straightforward and willing to take a risk on someone with little to no references.
