2023: Platinum Pro wrapped

It's been a big 2023 for the purple army. So, let's take a look at some highlights from throughout the year.

In 2023, we celebrated:

  • 25 new home handovers
  • 3 Home Hangouts
  • 1 display home (on its way!)
  • 2 Master Builders awards
  • 2 newly qualified apprentices
  • 2 new PPC babies
  • 1 engagement

We handed over the keys to our clients' dream homes all over the north-west coast, from Lillian Court in Turners Beach to Latrobe, Leith, Deloraine, Spreyton, Shearwater, and Devonport. Here's to adding Burnie to that list in 2024 😎

We entered 2023 with the goal of turning our clients’ dreams of building into a reality, which is exactly what we did for our 25 handovers. Check out what Ricky and Elisa have to say about their experience with Platinum Pro in this video. We handed over the keys to their Turners Beach home in April this year, and as you'll hear, they're pretty stoked!

As well as delivering for our clients, we also aimed to deliver for one another within our team. We approached each onsite challenge as an opportunity, and each win was a reason to celebrate. This year, our expectations of the PPC crew were blown out of the water, and our combined efforts saw us win in two categories at the Master Builders Tasmanian Awards. Our villas at 53-55 Fleetwood Drive took home the Medium Density Construction 2-5 dwellings, while 43 Fleetwood Drive won in the Dwelling Construction $200K-$350K. We're chuffed to have the hard work and skill of our team recognised in these awards; it was the icing on the cake for 2023!

Speaking of our people, we had some significant career milestones throughout the year, with Lucas and Colby both signing off on their apprenticeships. We're so proud of them and know this is just the start of successful careers with Platinum Pro.

Charley held down the front desk, sending over 1800 emails, while Brooke sat in 185 meetings with clients to help guide them through the building process. Sam and Buzz have also been chatting up a storm, answering over 2000 phone calls (half of which were through their cars’ Bluetooth). We also screeded about 1,750m³ of concrete and dug approximately 1500 holes. (No wonder the team is exhausted!)

Needless to say, we're looking forward to a nice break over the Christmas period, while we reflect on the great year that’s been, and look forward to the year to come. Expect heaps more handovers, Platinum Pro fence wrapping to pop up more and more in Burnie, a new display home in Spreyton, and lots more opportunities to come and spend time with the purple army at our Home Hangouts 🔥

To our unreal team, amazing clients, trade partners and all who have played a part in Platinum Pro's year, you're the best! Let's face it: we wouldn't be who we are without each of you.

Dreaming of building next year? It starts with us.
